Jeannene Christie Provides…

• Quality 1:1 facilitation for children with special needs. She travels to families’ homes and works with special children in their playrooms (or otherwise non-distracting environments). Jeannene helps children overcome challenges through positive and playful interactions. Family members and caregivers learn how to apply The Son-Rise Program® principles specifically to their child by watching the session through the observation window and / or video taping.
• CranioSacral Therapy (CST); a soothing, noninvasive, hands-on therapy that complements the body's natural healing processes. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including: Stress and Tension-Related Problems, Autism, Learning Disabilities, Emotional Difficulties, and Neurovascular or Immune Disorders. Jeannene has studied CranioSacral Therapy with The Upledger Institute and The Milne Institute

This is a video of Jeannene doing The Son-Rise Program® with George. George is 8 and is on the autism spectrum. Like many children with ASD, he has sensory difficulties. George’s parents wanted help with brushing his teeth because he would scream and resist whenever the tooth brush came out and they had to hold him down to get the job done.
